Fine up to here. Now what you need to do is (require 'ox-latex)
*before* you try to:

> ;(add-to-list 'org-latex-classes
> ; '("komaarticle" "\\documentclass{scrartcl}"
> ; ("\\section{%s}" . "\\section*{%s}")
> ; ("\\subsection{%s}" . "\\subsection*{%s}")
> ; ("\\subsubsection{%s}" . "\\subsubsection*{%s}")
> ; ("\\paragraph{%s}" . "\\paragraph*{%s}")
> ; ("\\subparagraph{%s}" . "\\subparagraph*{%s}")))

which is what several of us have been trying to get across! At the very
least, you need:

,----
| (add-to-list 'load-path ...org lisp directory...)
| (require 'org)
| (require 'ox-latex)
| (add-to-list 'org-latex-classes ...)
`----

to do what you want! You are missing the third line.

A minimal initialisation with just those four lines should be enough to
see if org with KOMA works.
