I suspect this is related to the issue where you can have a source-type 'shell' but only can execute a shell blockif it's source type 'sh'.

I think the problem is that if you register graphviz-dot as a language, it generates that require.  I got it halfway working by changing the language back to just dot; I need to go back figure out how to nonetheless use graphviz-mode for editing.

What version of org are you using?  The version I'm using has no
reference to ob-graphviz-dot.

(but the version I am using is a week or so out of date...).
