If I add plainnat as style to the org file, I still get the undefined
citation error.

Here's the current file:

[cite/text/alt:see ;@einstein]

[cite//alt/caps:@einstein]

[cite//full:@einstein]

[cite//caps:@einstein]

#+cite_export: natbib plainnat
#+bibliography: test.bib
