Thank you for volunteering to help! I'll be working on extracting the
Q&As over the next few weeks. In the meantime, if you like, you can
certainly pick one of the talks that you feel would be useful to have
with German (FlowyCoder) or French (Edgar) subtitles. Maybe one of
these, or any other talk that you like?

What I'd like to see in Emacs - Richard M. Stallman
    https://emacsconf.org/2022/talks/rms

    The Emacs Buddy Initiative

    Attending and organizing Emacs meetups

quiliro translated the meetups captions to Spanish by making a copy of
the VTT file and then replacing the text. Maybe something like that
would work for you? It's plain text, so you can use whatever tool you
like. If you use subed.el (https://github.com/sachac/subed) to edit
subtitles in Emacs, you could use M-n (subed-forward-subtitle-text) and
M-p (subed-backward-subtitle-text) to navigate between subtitles, and
the usual C-k to kill the text before you type in a new one. You might
be able to make a command or keyboard macro to make this even easier for
you, if you want. =) You can also just work with the plain text if you
prefer (without timestamps), if that's easier for you.

If you translate it, you can e-mail me the subtitles or plain text at
sacha@sachachua.com and I can make them available as closed captions as
well as put the transcript on the page.

We have such a global community, and it would be amazing if people could
connect with other people and communicate in the languages that they're
the most comfortable in. =) Your translations could help with that.
Thank you!

Sacha
