I guess this patch is trivial and small enough not to require assignment
of copyright to the FSF, right?

In any case: Luca, if you're going to add some new features or hunt some
bugs (we don't have one, right?), please drop us a note so that our
copyright clerk (hi, Michael!) can send you the papers.
