Maybe by the cards that life had dealt them, the relationship that they were in may not have ended on the best of terms. I mean you're literally grinning from ear to ear.

Everyone seems to be blogging then and might that be why I started blogging too? I do believe that time will heal all and i hope it does for your, sooner rather than later. Time's like this makes me wonder if I started blogging just because it was a fad a couple of months ago. i have my pride, yes?
Even when one diddn't, with enough time and space given to each other, we essentially became friends sooner rather than later. i guess this is a good breakups because of what we share during our times together. Patience and forgiveness would be the main virtues I guess but its like what people say, time will heal all wounds or does it? The sort of things that changes your life when it happens.
I think that continuing the friendship with your ex is a good thing to do.
