Guys,

I have worked hard today and yesterday on FR. I have committed the following things in CVS: I have added the DockBar and DockPane plugins. When you start the application 3 dockbars are created: one east, one west and one south with the EditPane in the center.

DockBars are initially empty except for the south one where the Debugger plugin creates a DockPane and hook it to the south DockBar at start time. There is also a very alpha-- version of the debugger plugin. There is no real debugger working behind it. It mostly shows how to insert a plugin in a dockbar/dockpane, insert a new menu item, run a new command from the menu, build the UI of the plugin and hook it to the dockpane. Well, that's not so bad... ;-)

I have also used the debugger plugin as a guinea pig to experiment a typical file structure for a plugin (renderers, icons,...). Let me know what you think.

Also be aware that there are still size/resize problem in the UI and the south dockbasr is hardly visible to start with. Enlarge the window and drag the slider at the bottom of the screen to uncover the south dockbar.

Enjoy and now, eventhough this is still a bit rough on the edges, you can start developing plugins.

Happy FreeRIDE!

Laurent
