Hi,
Someone pointed that it is not stated in
http://www.gnu.org/evaluation/evaluation.html
that the license should qualify as a Free Software License. Although
it's obvious to all of us, someone not familiar with the GNU project
can conclude that any kind of licence, even non-free, can be
accepted. I propose to change
-License: (specify type - any problems?)
to
-License: (specify type - any problems?)
The license must be a Free Software License, as listed in
http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/license-list.html. If you think your
license is a Free Software License but is not listed in this page,
please send a mail to address@hidden Unless there exists
compelling reasons that prevent this, the GNU GPL is preferred. If
you have to choose another Free Software License, you should select
a license that is compatible with the GNU GPL. Choosing a license
that is not compatible with the GNU GPL is a source of
interoperatiblity problems and should be avoided where possible.
If you agree with this I can do the change myself.
Cheers,
