I tried this on gcl at 7:02 PM. I'm in the US Eastern time zone
(Greenwich-5) and got:

This is wrong. Evidently it thinks I'm in the US Central zone and
that it is not Daylight Savings Time.
Trying the same thing a second later with CMU CL, I get the
correct answer:

The date command shows that the OS knows what time it is, what time zone
I'm in and that it is DST.
