Greetings! Yes, we have 'verified' 64 bit support on amd64, ia64, and
alpha. A few users at the University of Texas have been using this to
make images in the 30Gb region, with over one billion cons cells.
most-positive-fixnum is still at its 32bit value on these machines.
I'd like to addres that soon for faster integer compiled code there.
