Transient Problem

I'm trying to implement  a transient problem in python and I have sin(t) as a source.

When i try to do something like :

md.add_source_term_generic_assembly_brick( mim, "sin(t)*Test_u");

it doesn't recognize the " t " 

Did I do it wrong ?
