Summary: No longer assume postgres -i
Initial Comment:
This patch removes the need to run postgres in
internet daemon mode by implicitly not passing a
hostname and port if none is specified.
This also brings the generation of postgres
connection strings out of the connect function and
into it's own, as two connections are possible at the
moment, so there was a duplication of effort (where
the effort was trivial before, it is now not-so-
trivial).
