Yes, this should work locally or for all client that resolv DNS whit your DNS server To have it to work worldwide your server must have domain delegation for gforge.domain.comDo you have additional info on how to setup the gforge regarding to "project.host.domain.com". I don't know how to get the [cvs|project|lists].host.domain.com working ? I saw your msg at User Forum "incorrect URL for Project Home Page", but do I need to make my other dns-server talk to gforge-server ? Or should I add a link in my dns-server like: "*.gforge.domain.com -> gforge.domain.com"
You must ask this to the domain.com DNS admin. The other solution is to ask the domain.com admin to manage your subdomain I was said this works with bind8 or more declaring *.gforge.domain.com and cvs.*.gforge.domain.com
To me there is several solutions. (I guess I'm not the only one with these problems...) Pls let me know! ps. This is good stuff, keep it up! /Regards Ulf Jakobsson
