[gforth] Can we ping with gforth on an Android device?

Tried

    sh ping 10.222.222.222

and

    s" ping 10.222.222.222" system

but the gforth session just froze up. When I try ping in a terminalide
console, busybox asks me if I am root.

I remember there was an announcement a while back about some new
networking framework stuff, but I don't see it in my old mail.

I don't really need the whole framework now, but if there were something
in there that I could use as a ping tool, I'd like to check it out. Or
if there is
another way to a ping from gforth, that would be cool, too.

One of these days I'll get someone to pay me
to design a language that combines the best of Forth and C.
Then I'll be able to leap wide instruction sets with a single #ifdef,
run faster than a speeding infinite loop with a #define,
and stop all integer size bugs with my bare cast.
