alas no - I'm still deep inside the graft of gm2 onto gcc-4.6.0 and all
the twisty passages look the same :-)

Although most of the C interface files have been changed to comply with
4.6.0 (this leaves gm2except.c) then cc1gm2 should link.  There have
been quite a few changes between 4.1.2 and 4.6.0 - (internal) option
hangling. CPP is run within cc1gm2 which will mean double book keeping
of Modula-2 tokens / and gcc location_t.
