It appears so.  There were no problems under the previous regime but
the proverbial hand-basket beckoned with libgm2/configure.  I am sorry
that I cannot be of more help -- I simply do not understand the inner
workings of configure enough to carry out much investigation.

Suggestions are most welcome.
