gdb console

Hello,

minor digression.  I thought I'd ask/post a question if you debug
executable via gdb on the command line.  Is it common knowledge that
^X^A activates the split screen source code/console?

I had no idea this had been implemented!  Anyway I accidentally pressed
^X^A (it toggles the source/console) and was very very pleasantly
surprised and find it really useful!  If you've not used it - give it a
whirl - it even syntax colours modula-2 :-)
