Nokia 3390 : Segmentation Fault on sendsms

hi,

ive been experiencing segmentation fault problem when sending sms with nokia 
3390.
i created a file containing my message, sms.txt. then i send it by :

gnokii --sendsms +1415xxxxxxx <sms.txt

somehow it gave me this error : Segmentation fault

configuration is :
intel pentium 4 pc running redhat linux 7.2.
gnokiirc phone model = 6110
gnokii source version = 0.4.0pre16

i was wondering if this release is broken. other methods such as getsms, 
monitor, identify,
getmemory are working fine.
