Ok, it's my fault.
In fact i was using a serial extension cable. and without this extension it 
works.
(with the extension it didn't work with windows softs too)

xgnokii seems to be unusable. but the TODO list says that is normal ;-)
so i'm going to test gnokii.
Do you need some test reports on the Nokia 8310 ?
you may give me some commands you want results for.
