Problems with newest smsd

From: Michael Meier
Subject: Problems with newest smsd
Date: Tue, 6 Aug 2002 12:15:38 +0200

Hi,

I tested the following with gnokii 0.4.3 and latest CVS. (06 Aug
2002/11am GMT) using a Nokia 6210.
Gcc is gcc (GCC) 3.2 20020720 (Red Hat Linux Rawhide 3.2-0.1) (From
RedHat 7.4 beta2) (also tried with 3.1).

Ok, now to the problem:
I installed gnokii and smsd without any problems (--enable-debug and
--without-x).
Gnokii can fetch information like alarm from the cellular.
But when i start smsd, i get the follow log (enummerated for easier
reference):

     1 address@hidden root]# smsd -u root -p password -d sms -m mysql

As you can see smsd reads and display the first message in my inbox
("Eingang") at line 198, gets the folder list and segfaults :(
The message "Special case INBOX in GetSMSFolderStatus!" appears in line
106 and 150, but i dont know if that has anything meaning for this case.

Did anyone have similar problems or knows how to fix this?
If neccessary, i can provide further details (if you tell me where to
find them :)

Thanks in advance.

Michael
