libraries

Hi there, Im fairly new to Gnokii and im trying to get it running for my
Nagios server which ive just finished setting up. Ive just configured 0.5
and done a make and make install, the binary has been created. But when I
run it eg ./gnokii --monitor or something


I get

./gnokii: error while loading shared libraries: libgnokii.so.1: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory


Does any know how I can fix up the libraries so they work?
