Hello,
Nokia 6130 or 6110, serial cable ttyS1, Kernel 2.4.20
address@hidden:~>gnokii --monitor
GNOKII Version 0.5.0rc4
Telephone interface init failed: Command timed out. Quitting.
.. when using connection = serial
address@hidden:~>gnokii --monitor
GNOKII Version 0.5.0rc4
Telephone interface init failed: Function not supported by the phone Quitting.
.. when using connection = dlr3p
the same with --identify.
address@hidden:~>gnokii --version
GNOKII Version 0.5.0rc4
address@hidden:~>grep -v "^#" .gnokiirc
[global]
port = /dev/ttyS1
model = 6130
initlength = default
connection = dlr3p
bindir = /usr/local/sbin/
use_locking = yes
serial_baudrate = 19200
smsc_timeout = 10
[connect_script]
TELEPHONE = 12345678
[disconnect_script]
ls /dev/ttyS1 -l
crw-rw-rw- 1 root gnokii 4, 65 2003-09-23 02:41 /dev/ttyS1
my digital camera works find on /dev/ttyS1 (no daemon that might
lock the device!) , the device is okay.
./configure
make
make install
make install-doc
ldconfig
... all worked fine.
/etc/ld.so.conf includes /usr/local/lib
The cable is labled with "data cable for Nokia 6210,
6310 DLR-3original software" and is new and was
explicitly sold for my 6130 / 6110". The plug
is labled with "For 6210". The wrong cable?
I tested 2 6130 and 1 6110. Always the same error.
Ideas?
thx
Ekkard
