problem with smsd-mysql

Hi, i need help in configuration of smsd to work with
mysql in a debian sarge machine.
I have installed gnokii 0.6.3, smsd, smsd-mysql and a
mysql server and db. there was all a debian packages
(.deb).
Well, when i try to run smsd it appeare this message:

woland:~# smsd
dlopen error: /usr/lib/smsd/libpq.so: cannot open
shared        object file: No such file or directory!
Cannot load database module pq in directory
/usr/lib/smsd!
woland:~#

but i think i have to use libmysql.so, or not
???!!!??!
when i try to compile libmysql.so i see:

woland:~# cd /usr/share/smsd/
woland:/usr/share/smsd# ls
libmysql.so
woland:/usr/share/smsd# make libmysql.so
make: Nothing to be done for `libmysql.so'.
woland:/usr/share/smsd#

it meaning that library it was just compiled ???
help me please to run gnokii with mysql
