You're not. I've been meaning to work on comms with a Nokia 3105 with a CA-42 
cable for a while now. I had some partial successes with some of the gnokii 
phone drivers, but never a complete synchronisation. Also, the AT command set 
(probably written for GSM) never got any response from my phone.

One thing I did do is log the serial communication while synchronising the 
phone under windows. I can send the logs to you directly if you want, but I'm 
not going to post them because it includes my phone book. I don't want to 
mess with the logs to remove the phone book info, because that may screw up 
checksums or something. There're also quite big (23M).

Dissapointingly my phone only supports minimal synchronisation. You can back 
up the address book, and add and remove applications, but I think that's all. 
Sorry if you were hoping to see how to back up your calendar as well. :(

Also, it was a while ago now, and I don't remember what order I did stuff, so 
it may take some detective work to figure out what's what.
