Heya,
The following patch should apply with plenty of fuzz. The old code was
trying to read the first character of buf.line2 as the battery status.
buf.line2 would look like:
+CBC: 1,37
"2" is also a valid battery status, it's mains powered without a
battery.
Patch attached.
