I had been using gnokii and xgnokii for a while with a Mandriva
distribution. Now I moved to Ubuntu 7.10 and I cannot use gnokii any
more. The phone (Nokia 6234) connects to the PC only if I use
kbluetooth -- can download files etc. With gnokii the phone cannot be
detected, apparently.
If I type "gnokii --monitor" I get an error message saying that the
phone interface cannot be initialized. The GUI interfaces hangs for a
while and gives the same kind of error message.
Any suggestion (tests and so on) greatly appreciated!
