I asked this some time ago because I could not download SMS -- the
version provided by Ubuntu is very old.
I am trying to compile O.6.27. At the moment, I noticed two problems
at configure stage:
(1) it says: "Bluetooth:          no", but I have the required libraries;
(2) ditto for: "X (GTK+) support:   no".

In the log I read:
configure: WARNING: Cannot find library libX11.
configure: WARNING: Disabling xgnokii.
But I have this library: at least, I see libx11-6 installed.

For Bluetooth, I read:
checking IOBluetooth/Bluetooth.h usability... no
checking IOBluetooth/Bluetooth.h presence... no
checking for IOBluetooth/Bluetooth.h... no
checking IOBluetooth/IOBluetoothUserLib.h usability... no
checking IOBluetooth/IOBluetoothUserLib.h presence... no
checking for IOBluetooth/IOBluetoothUserLib.h... no

I can use bluetooth both with gammu and with the Gnome Bluetooth
applet (0.25). Before trying to compile I removed completely
(hopefully so) the old gnokii version.
