Ok, I use the CLI now and some things that did not work with xgnokii now work
with the CLI....
e.g. gnokii --getphonebook ME 1 end
works fine, xgnokii did not read my phonebook entries, gnokii does...
Sending SMS via
echo "Das ist eine Test-SMS mit Umlauten: ä ö ü" | gnokii --sendsms
015121xxxx78
also works.
Ok, thanx for your efforts, I am a GUI freak, but it seems I have to learn the
gnokii CLI to get the most of it.
