Can you please be a bit more specific? Did it at least display
something? How did you burn the CD? If you are using WinOnCD or Nero,
you might want to look at the docs at
<http://download.linuxtag.org/knoppix/docs/HOWTO-burn/>.
(Just to be sure - you did make sure that your computer's BIOS setup is
set so that it boots from CD, didn't you?)

Did you compare the MD5 sum with your downloaded file? On Linux, just
type "md5sum gnoppix-0.6.0-beta1.iso", on Windows
<http://www.toast442.org/gl/public_html/staticpages/index.php?page=20020828141406760>
 might help. Compare the checksum of your file with the one given in the 
MD5.gpg file (for gnoppix-0.6.0-beta1.iso, it's
3beeb3588a231b03f82f01df3bcf0071).
