[Gnoppix-user] 6.0b3 is rad! log off problem?

I used the new beta 3 all night, i'm trying to figure
out now how to setup a dual boot.. i'm slowly gettin
windows off my sytem.. :)

    only problem was, after I was done I went to shut
down the comp.. I exited gnome. I went to "system">
"shutdown the comp" then it asked me for the root
password?  
    what the? well I ended up powering it down...
without getting it to shutdown. 

   anybody know why it did that? beta 2 never did that
to me. is it jst beta 3's problem.. or did I do
something?
          if I install to a HD will it continue to do
that?
