I didn't notice any slowness until recently, and it seems to be
basically all gnu.org mail that's slow; maybe it has something to do
with all the virus-checker spam that's been flying about in the last few
days.

[The companies that make virus-checkers sometimes seem to be only
slightly less slimey than the people who make viruses!]
