Hi Tom,

This is very rough, but does this email accurately document your .doc
format? Please point out any mistakes or ommissions.

Be well,
Zack

                           Tom Lord's .doc Format

              Put something like this at the top of each file:

/* filename.doc:
 *
 ****************************************************************
 * Copyright (C) 2003 Your Name
 *
 * See the file "COPYING" for further information about
 * the copyright and warranty status of this work.
 */

             Put something like this at the top of each section:

/************************************************************************
 *(h0 "Tection Title")
 *

                   And this at the bottom of each section:

 *
 *
 */

                                Subsections:

Subsections are possible, just do the same as for a section above, but use
h1, h2, h3, etc for the different levels of heading.

                             in-line formatting:

`fixed-width'

\bold and underlined/

"italics"

*italics*

^bold^

                          similar to <pre> in HTML:

insert*/

        text that should be in fixed-width and with whatever spacing appears
here.

/*end-insert

                            fixed-width indented:

Any line beginning with a space, is formatted indented, with fixed width
font. For example:

        % tla explicit-default TAG-PREFIX
