But there is nothing about an octopus that says you have to be able to
see all eight at all times from every perspective.  And, indeed, this
particular octopus either has a an asymmetric arrangement of 6 arms,
or has 2 that we can't see behind his head.

But you know, that also isn't where their eyes are, how their suckers
are arranged, what color they are, and so forth.  The fluid dynamics
of the illustrated ink secretion are particularly suspect.  Perhaps it
is a conspiracy.
