This appears to be a misdirected feature request.

Hi!
I was wondering if it is possible to get arch to ask for a password when
accessing a remote archive?
The command:
tla make-archive address@hidden \
http://address@hidden/arch/address@hidden/
Fails with error 401(authorization required). I would like arch to ask me for
a password instead. I am far too paranoid to use the http://user:address@hidden
syntax.
Sincerly,
Bartek Kania

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
