Hi,

First of all I'd like to thank you all for the work you've done on
Arch.  I've used the last couple of weeks to try to decide which
revision control system to choose (while retiring CVS), and today I
decided that arch (or tla) seems the most promising.

Now, I've read parts of your mailing list archives in an attempt to
avoid making a complete fool out of myself, but anyhow: I have read
the "arch Meets hello-world", searched the net and your archives and I
haven't found the following simple tool: an Emacs inserter for
arch-tags (based on uuidgen, as the tutorial introduction suggested).

Hence, I created this little Emacs lisp function, attached to this
e-mail, that seems to solve the problem for most kinds of programming
languages used in my projects.

I send it here in case it can help other arch users.
