yes.  why not parse ~/.netrc which is kind of standard for things like
this (or?).  i was thinking about this myself in fact, as i have a login
on a site that i cannot up in an URL, since it contains an @-sign (it's
basically an email address), which is used to separate the username and
password from the hostname.
