A more correct question would probably be: "who is responsible for
updating the freshmeat.net project page".

Since Tom is the only admin, either he should do it himself or offload
the responsibility to whoever makes the releases (which may be himself
for development releases and jblack for stable releases).

Keeping freshmeat up to date is a PITA, but it's an important public
facade. If the version listings are not kept up to date, they should be
dropped altogether.
