Yours truly actually bit the bullet once and came up with the _really_
correct way to do export and to create tarballs with tla, even for files
containing newlines in the names (even if some people think that caring
for those cases is pedantry).

Those scripts might not be very portable, since they were written for
bash. Wiki edits welcome.
Also, these scripts will leave .arch-inventory files around.
