Do you think that Larry would provide enough information to re-create
the changesets? The tool allows one to easily retrieve the head of the
repository or a snapshot, given that you know the changeset number.

To be able to create individual changesets, you would need to know the
BK revision number and they order. Looking at the bkbits.net website,
it looks like you could have everything you need in there but somebody
tried few years ago to write a script to apply the bkbits.net patches
and the surprise was that in some cases it failed. That is because the
patches from bkbits.net are not simply applied on a tree with "patch"
but bitkeeper does a kind of three-way merge. The missing part is the
full graph and you can't know the common ancestor.

The BKCVS is still the best available (even if it was broken for the
last week).
