Unfavorably, I guess. :)

Never used emacs-wiki, but AFAIK it uses multiple files to store
information and I bet it has more than a single markup character
(unlike spartan-wiki).

It's only a little toy project which can be used as a personal
notebook if one wants some simple structure, but does not need fancy
features.
