pwsafe.el was originally written by Stefan Reichoer.

It works well, but there's a defect in the underlying pwsafe
application (not in Reichoer's script) which prevents the clipboard
from working in some versions of debian.

I've modified pwsafe.el to make use of the "xsel" tool to copy
usernames and passwords to the x11 clipboard. pwsafe and xsel are
required to run pwsafe mode.

Code is here:

Known defect: pwsafe mode cannot be launched directly from the
               commandline using "emacs -f pwsafe".
