Please find gnugo.el 2.3.0, in ELPA (newly-added package ‘gnugo’):

Here is NEWS for both 2.3.0 and 2.2.14, which was/is part of
ttn-pers-elisp 1.59 (but mislabeled as 2.2.13, PEBKAC):

- dropped support for XEmacs and older Emacs
- use ‘user-error’ for user errors

- handle sudden jump in captured stones correctly

- start error message w/ a capital letter
- use ‘(error "%s" X)’ instead of ‘(error X)’
