[GNU-linux-libre] venemux contact?

Is anyone on this list working on venemux, or have recent contact with
anyone from venemux?  rms has been trying to reach them about the
nonfree FAAC and has had no reply ...

There is something nonfree in Venenux; they probably did not realize
it.  But I have had no response to several messages to maintainers.  I
think we need to drop it from the free distros list if we cannot
contact them.

    La licencia de FAAC es engaÃ±osa, dice que es GNU LGPL, pero una lectura
    detenida muestra que contiene partes bajo copyrigth, aunque esta
    informaciÃ³n estÃ¡ bastante escondida, a mi parecer.

Â¿Puedes mostrarme los detalles del problema de FAAC?

Â¿QuÃ© dice Debian?  Â¿Considera que FAAC es libre?
SerÃ­a Ãºtil hablar con el mantenidor del paquete FAAC de Debian
para pedir su ayuda.

Â¿Hay otro librerÃ­a para MPEG2 que pueda usarse?

Â¿SerÃ­a posible usar Cinelerra sin paquete de MPEG2?
Â¿Usando otros formatos como Ogg Theora o Webm?

Â¿Has hablado con los desarrolladores de Cinelerra sobre este asunto?

Tenemos una lista para discusiones entre los equipos de las
distribuciones libres.  SegÃºn una memoria no fiable, puede ser

problema es importante, necesitamos buscar una soluciÃ³n que mentenga
el uso de Cinelerra y la libertad.
