I was talking about "free software" in that subdiscussion.

But if you want to talk again about India, the labor in India is cheap 
because of the exchange rate, which ultimately is their fault : 
it appears to the financial world that they are an unstable, mismanaged,
overpopulated country. Less investment means cheaper currency.

I would not put it past the Indian and Pakistani elite
to be creating their nuclear tensions specifically to draw
industry to their respective countries. Keeping the conflict
at a low simmer and not a boil is good for their economies.
