Yes, exactly.

Lawsuits, in business, are the *crybaby* response.

And no, they don't work.

The companies M$ destroyed: Lotus, Netscape, and so on -- were destroyed on
simple business merit. M$ offered a better solution, or a more compelling
reason to use their technology. These were swift, clean kills, and
everyone knew why.

But now -- look at M$ -- flailing about, sending expensive 'Special
Delivery' packages with brochures whining about 'Linux vs. Windos'

These are the anguished cries of the *bully* who has just had his lights
turned out by someone. The Linux slingshot hit Goliath firmly square in
the head, and now all he, Microsoft does, is try to save face with
lawsuits, government directives, patriotism ( the last refuge of
scoundrels ) and other non-business related means.

Linux is business.

Linux is cheaper, faster, easier.

It has a better distribution system.

It has a better support system.

It is more flexible, has a clear concise license ( copy it all you want,
acknowledge the source )

And so on.

The only reason m$ is still around is *protectionism" by the entrenched
bureacracies and other laggard forces that cannot stand to see their Empire
( and hence their Power ) crumble to the earth....
