I'm not sure what point you were trying to make with this quote.

However, it is slightly miselading. You *may* charge for distributing
copies of GPL works, and for distributing derivatives. This is in §1
of the GPL, and there is no limit on the amount you can charge.

What you are not allowed is to charge for licensing those derivatives
(they must be licensed under the GPL, free of charge, §2.b) or charge more
than cost for providing the source for a distributed binary program (§3.b).
