In every case they file, the defendants have been illegally
distributing GPLed software. After each of these cases has
ended, the defendants (or a suitable proxy, in the Verizon/
Actiontec case) are carrying out their obligations under the
GPL. The complaints are repetitive and cookie-cutter because
the violations are repetitive and cookie-cutter.

These suits are filed to stop defendants from illegally
distributing copyrighted software.
