Proceeding to trial is possible only when both parties
wish to continue their dispute. Otherwise cases are settled.
In the various cases filed by the SFLC the defendants chose
to comply with the GPL, and so there was no longer any issue
to take to trial. Courts don't hear cases just for fun, or
just to see what would have happened.

The resulting publicity of an ENFORCABLE GPL

The JMRI appeal's publicity of an enforceable artistic
license doesn't seem to have dampened your enthusiasm or
changed any of your rhetoric.
