Under some very narrow circumstances. Here the issue was whether a DCMA subpoena could be quashed and whether a prima facie case of copyright infringement was made if the letter in question had a copyright registration made. In this case the lawyer filed for a copyright registration and was able to invoke a condition in the DCMA.
There never was any adjudication as to the validity of the copyright, so you are still batting zero.
