"Verbatim" means "using precisely the same words".

Your various copies of the GPL do not use exactly the same
words. These copies were not encoded due to the necessities
of some particular storage device. They were deliberate
non-verbatim copies of the GPL, and as such, they infringe
upon the GPL copyright holder's exclusive right to make and
distribute copies.

And since the GPL mentions neither hardcover nor paperback

Wrong, as usual. The GPL says

    <http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl.html>
    Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim
    copies of this license document, but changing it is not
    allowed.

Since it grants blanket permission to make and distribute
verbatim copies, such copies may be made in any medium.

Given that according to you the hex view of
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt blatantly violates

So what? You seem astonished that devices and programs can
be used to infringe upon copyright. How can you pretend to
have anything intelligent to say about copyright at all?
